versiondog supports PLCs that work with RSLogix , Studio Logix Designer, RsLinx Classic and FactoryTalk Linx by Rockwell. versiondog enables the cyclical monitoring of devices created in this environment.

Other system requirements
- The software RSLogix ( version x or higher - STANDARD or PROFESSIONAL EDITION) or Studio Logix Designer (version 21 onward) needs to be run on the computer on which the versiondog server is running. If the software is running on another computer, you will require a versiondog Agent.
- Either RSLinx Classic or FactoryTalk Linx will need to be run on the computer on which the versiondog server is installed. Note: FactoryTalk Link was previously known as RSLinx Enterpreise Edition.
- When upgrading FactoryTalk Linx, you will need to uninstall the RSLinx Classic software and enter the access path manually. This is located in Job configuration
- If you are using versiondog Agents when carrying out a FactoryTalk Linx upgrade, you will need to be ensure that all Agent related tasks are carried by an administrator.
