Back up apps

1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
2. Tap Settings > Accounts and backup >Backup & restore.
3. Tap the Back up my data slider on to back up any account data, Wi-Fi passwords, and other settings to Google servers.
4. Tap the Automatic restore on to restore backed up settings and data when re-installing applications.

Back up contacts

1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
2. Tap Settings > Accounts and backup> Back up data.
3. Tap the services you wish to back up, then tap Back up.

Back up contacts to SD card

1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
2. Tap Contacts > Menu > Settings.
3. If necessary, tap Contacts to show > All contacts.
4. Tap back into Settings> Manage Contacts > Import / Export contacts > Export >SD card.
5. Review the file name for the contact list on the pop-up message.
6. Tap EXPORT to confirm export.
7. A message flashes at the top of the screen indicating the contacts will be exported.

Back up media & pictures

From phone

1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
2. Tap Samsung > My Files >Internal storage.
3. Tap the Menu > Share
4. Select the content you want to backup, then tap Share.
5. Select the location you want the content to be shared with. Once selected, a progress bar will appear until complete.

From computer - PC or Mac

1. Download and install Samsung Smart Switch that is compatible with your computer from www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar#!/
2. Connect the cable to a compatible USB port on your computer.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to your mobile device.
4. Allow your computer to install any required drivers for your device. This process may take a few minutes.
5. Open Smart Switch on your computer, and allow it to make the connection.
6. If necessary, follow these steps:
   1. Touch the Status bar and drag it down.
   2. Tap Connected as a media device.
   3. Select the Media device (MTP) check box.
7. On the computer, click Open device to view files.
8. Navigate to the desired files on your computer:
   • The Card icon is your SD card.
   • The Phone icon is your device's internal storage.
9. Drag and drop the files into the desired computer folder.
10. When finished, safely disconnect the phone from the computer.

Restore contacts from SD card

1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
2. Tap Contacts > Menu > Settings.

   • Pictures are usually stored to a DCIM file.
   • Media files are usually stored in the media file.
4. To move files to the main phone memory, tap Menu > Move >Internal storage >Move here.
5. To move files to another location, tap the folder name (or tap Create folder), then tap Move here.
