Yamaha ux16 driver download windows 7

Original title : usb-midi interface ux16 driver

In the process of installing this interface, I ran across choices that were confusing.

I purchased a new gateway with windows 7 - found lots of old stuff not recognized - have been in process of fixing

what I could, buying new replacement programs for others - and trying to learn all the new programs.

I have purchased the upgrade to windows 7 pro.  I have had a virtual drive setup for windows xp pro.

I just received my new usb-interface ux16 cable, and was told I should download the driver for this to operate

properly for a bit system.

The instructions are so confusing. I have several questions:

1. Before installing using the disc I received with the cable set upam I supposed to download the driver for the bit operation

    first? If so, where do I download it to?  the gateway bit  or the windows xp virtual drive?

2. If there is a service available to have a technician takeover my computer and get this setup properly, where do I go for that

    and is there a charge for that?
