Gta online could not download files xbox one - are not
Can't connect to GTA Online. Files required to play GTA Online error.
This was a huge issue last week because many were trying to do the sp to mp/buy everything free glitch.
Maybe you tried to do it, maybe you did not however the fix for this is to hold L1 + R1 at startup UNTIL you get the re-calibration screen, the one that asks you to change brightness before proceeding in-game.
Are you sure you are holding L1 + R1 until you get the re-calibration screen? If you aren't getting the re-calibration screen then you are most likely doing it wrong and if you are sure you are doing it correctly then contact Rockstar or re-install the game.
If you were doing a glitch then I wont judge you, if you are embarrassed by this or what ever then I don't need to hear how you weren't glitching HOWEVER do some research on the glitches you do because some glitches may have serious side effects that stick with your character/account, some of these glitches are great (ex:invisible body), while others can be as bad to the point of deleting/replacing your vehicles/apartments/etc and even not allowing you to enter online, like in this case.
