NVIDIA releases WHQL bug-fixing drivers
Monday, October 24th
After pulling last Friday's WHQL drivers from their website, NVIDIA has now replaced them with a new build. The new drivers are largely equal to the previous ones, including performance profile and game support, with the only notable differences being the fixing of a bug with Windows 10 tiles, introduced by the previous driver build, as well as introducing support for the company's upcoming GTX and GTX Ti products.
As always, you can grab the new drivers right here from TechPowerUp. Just follow the links below.

#1SteevoAll lies I tell you, Nvidia make perfect driver!!!
On a serious note I hope AMD gets their shit together about posting fixes instead of their current approach of, the bug doesn't exist if we don't want it to.

lol, there's an obvious bug in the drivers and I've just gone and installed them the minute they came out, again. And I've dodged another bullet here, since I don't see tiles at all on W10 since I use Classic Shell to replace the Start menu. I'll now install the supposedly fixed replacements with wild abandon, lol.
Seriously though, my point is that I agree with the caution shown by all those people on TPU who wait to install the latest driver. Very prudent.
Just somehow, I've been lucky and hardly ever been affected by bugs in them. And of course, my insurance policy here is that I know how to fix any problems caused by the latest drivers, even if the whole operating system were to get hosed somehow, a very unlikely scenario. Hence, I can afford to live dangerously.

Oh for god sake NVIDIA do you even check your stuff before releasing it?
RejZoRI had no such issue. Corrupt download maybe?

Yeah all is well here. No noticeable performance increase in GoW4

R-T-BWhen www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar executed directly from the extraction folder it worked fine. So it's not a corrupted download. Besides, I haven't had a corrupt download ever since I stopped using 56k dialup

RejZoRDunno man. Didn't happen to me. *shrugs*

PS: I've had corrupt downloads but I'm on Comcast, comes with the territory
Tiles? You mean the crap that sank win8 and 10 (besides no start menu) LOL.
I'm glad m$ disables all of that when you're absolute admin. It saves me the trouble of accidentally seeing it.

Installed fine, and so far so good.
Posted on Reply#11RejZoRNow Serious Sam 3, at some random point in game decided not to run my GPU at MHz anymore like it did before. For no logical reason. It just goes down to MHz GPU clock and with ZERO PerfCap reasons. I just don't get it what's going on with this stuff. Things don't even change by selecting Max Performance power profile in NV CP. I just don't get it. GPU-Z just shows everything fine, but it's not fine. And yes, I have the Win10 Xbox DVR crap disabled because I was experiencing the exact same thing in CS:GO when clocks just wouldn't go up. Now it's Serious Sam 3 and DVR disabled and I'm experiencing this. Ugh. What's next? O_o
