| Hi, I have been downloading some cartoon movies for my grandson, using a bit torrent. After transferring them to the Tivo (pull) they end up as individual entries in the NPL. I would like to be able to group them under one folder name. I understand that Pytivo will do this. I found this thread that talked about using Pytivo to do just that www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar#post I would like to know exactly what and where I need to download the stuff I need to do this. I am running Windows 7 64bit mode. It seems like there was some question about having Python installed in 32bit mode? Any help would be appreciated. Mike | |

| Reccomendations if after downloading the windows installer it aborts on install because it does not see Python? Even though Python is most definately running, as its open in a window right next to the pytivo installer? | |

| The old windows installer cannot detect Python The latest Python it will detect is Python So if you want to use the old windows installer, start with Python Then install pyTivo. Then install Python to the same folder as Python - changing the folder path will break pyTivo because it records the Python folder path on install. I'd like to fix the Windows installer at some point, but I don't have very much free time right now and probably not for the next two months or so. | |

| I followed the install instructions here www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar but noticed that the www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar version contains compiled components (.pyc) while the latest zip version does not. So I could overwrite the uncompiled components with their later versions, but not the compiled ones. So my question is: am I executing the latest version? Or am I expected to compile? (I know nothing about Python) | |

| The files are updated when you run pyTivo. You should see the date modified on pyc files matches when you ran it. In other words. Assuming you've extracted the files to the correct location you should be running the latest version. Luke | |
