No this does not come with software. Avaiable softwart is from the shop and is free, BF It is a little testy to set up, make sure that you choose the english version and the correct interrupt for the cable required, also available on e-bay or the shop. There are plenty of youtube videos available to help with programming and setting frequencies, etc.

You will need to buy a cable to connect it to the computer(i used this one and the driver that was included, www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar=oh_details_o03_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the bf software from baofeng's website (www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar?BigClassName=Programming%20Software).

No! You must purchase the programming cable (which most of them come with software and drivers, but I have had no luck with the included software or drivers)-some of these come with the software however most have found that it does not work-most have searched the internet and downloaded software called "Chirp" this software seems to work with most all radios on the market. be warned that the programming cables don't seem to work with Window 8

Software is a free download on the yahoo groups. Just go to yahoo groups and search BFS. Goto: "www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar" for everything you need to know about BFS's.

I use the free CHIRP software. Very easy, works perfectly. Note: import radio settings from radio into the software first then change the settings, and save and upload back into the radios.
