The game Devil May Cry 5 does not correspond to the franchise’s license plate, since the fifth part of the series has already been released earlier, back in  under the name DMC. In the fifth part of the game «The Devil May Cry,» Nero lost the limb of the demon, which is why he lost part of his incredible strength.

However, the loss was not without gain. Now, in place of the amputated arm, the new protagonist flaunts an ultramodern and incredibly functional prosthesis, which will become his new weapon. Action slasher events unfold in the City of the Red Grave or Red Grave City. It was there that evil took root, which should be destroyed first of all. Meanwhile, as long as Nero will deal with intruders, Dante, the son of Sparda, will search for those who are to blame for the death of his mother and the damage imposed on his brother.
