Viprinux - OpenSource Embedded Linux-Distribution
The Firmware ("Viprinux") running on all Viprinet Multichannel VPN Routers and Hubs uses its own routing kernel including a proprietary TCP/IP stack that is enabling us to implement the unrivaled features of our products. Viprinux is compiled with OpenADK, which is an open source construction kit for Embedded Linux. Our OpenADK version is running on a Debian (64 bit) host.
According to the license agreements of the used open source components and to honor the great achievments of the Linux community we publish the complete source files including all of our improvements to the used open source components here on this website.
Please consider that the router kernel and TCP/IP stack is the intellectual property of Viprinet and therefore not included in the provided files. As a result it will not be possible to run the linked files on a Multichannel VPN Router but it can be a userful starting point for your own embedded projects. Viprinux was optimized on ARM- and Xsystems and for flash storage. Thanks to SquashFS the complete system can be run on as little as 20MB.
