This option is used to reactivate your existing license that you have already purchased from tally.

Get a Rental License

You can also get a rental license if you don’t want to purchase tally.

You have to fill in the simple form with all your details and on successful payment, you will get a rental license.

In a simple way to see this &#; 32 bit and 64 bit versions of tally are the same.

It is just that your processor comes up with different capacity to handle RAM and other tasks.

A 64 bit processor can handle much more RAM than a 32 bit processor.

But, we don’t have to worry about this because tally utilizes a very less amount of RAM and therefore, it doesn’t make any difference if you are using the tally educational version of 32 bit or 64 bit.

In terms of functions, there is no difference between 32 bit and 64 bit versions of tally.

Restrictions of functionality in Educational Version of Tally ERP 9

As you are using the free version of tally, which is the educational version of tally, there are certain restrictions to the use of tally.

They are:

You cannot create transactions for all the dates in the educational version of tally.

This means you can enter all kinds of transactions in tally but not everyday. A selected number of dates only.

To my information, you can only enter the transactions on 1st and 2nd dates and 30th and 31st date of each month.

Another restriction is that, you cannot use the option of automatic bank reconciliation in tally because it requires you to have a TSS subscription.

TSS subscription only works if you have licensed version of tally.
