Record pc client download

Applies to: All Reolink products except battery-powered cameras.

You may refer to the following 3 methods to record videos from the camera to your PC via Reolink Client.

1. Record to PC by using manual record

2. Record to PC by setting record schedule

3. Record to PC by uploading to FTP server

Note: Before setting the video recording and playback of Reolink cameras, you need to update your Reolink Client to the latest version.

Method 1: By Using Manual Record

Step 1. Refer to Set Up Local Record Settings via Reolink Client to choose the Record Path for the manual record. 

Step 2. Go back to the Live View page and click on the video icon to start recording.

Step 3. Tap on the video icon again to stop recording, then you may find a pop-up window on the right bottom corner which shows the recording path of the video.

Method 2: By Setting Record Schedule

Step 1. Refer to Set Up Local Record Settings via Reolink Client to choose the Record Path.

Step 2. Follow the steps in Set up Local Record Schedule via Reolink Client (Windows) to enable and set the local recording. 

After you save the settings, the camera will record to your PC based on the Record Schedule you have set.

Note: The recording schedule is valid for all the cameras you have logged in on Reolink Client.

Method 3: By Uploading to FTP Server

Step 1. Follow the guides in Build FTP Server on Your PC (Cerberus FTP Server) to finish the establishment of FTP server. You may also build your FTP Server on other platforms, and if you have problems in doing that, please ask the support of the platform for help.

Step 2.  Refer to Set up FTP via Reolink Client (Windows)/ (Mac) to set up the FTP for your device.

After you successfully configure the FTP settings, the camera will upload recordings to the FTP server upon the FTP Schedule, and then the FTP server will send the videos to your PC.
