Can anyone help please I'm dyslexic I've tryed help pages but I can't make heads or tails of if
I Will attempt to help you!

This may be an obvious question but did you extract the calibration file or files into or in that directory and file folder you made or did you just copy the file you downloaded to the directory and file folder you made?

I am assuming you made the directory and folder as directed in this topic www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar?f=16&t=#p
And if you downloaded the Archive file at the Link www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar, did you extract it as outlined below and as instructed to do so, into the folder you made?

You should be able to navigate through something like this upon opening your Windows file explorer. "Computer" to "Local Disk (C:)" to "Users" to "[yourusername]" to "MyDocuments" to "CalibrationFiles" to "[www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar]". Your user name should be where the first set of brackets are and the calibration files you downloaded should look something like the file name in the second set of brackets.

That is not likely to be the file you need. Forscan was likely asking for a similar looking file name in that error message it has been showing you and that you said you managed to get and try to put into to the directory folder you made.
I just picked that one at random from the archive I have as an example of what the file names should look like.

The files, if you downloaded them from Ford, at this link www.cronistalascolonias.com.arconne roduct=IDSor in the Forscan archive above, are in a .zip compressed archive and must be extracted by another program!
Forscan does not have a file extractor to unzip these itself. I think Fords IDS does.

Open your windows file explorer, navigate to the folder you made as above and check whether that folder you made has any file name that ends in .zip .vbf or .ab or if it even has a file name in it. If it does have a file name and it ends in ".zip" then that is the problem, it must end in .vbf or .ab in order for Forscan to recognise it as an SBL calibration file or as an asbuilt file!

If there is only a .zip file currently in that folder you made, then you should be able to extract it by right clicking on the .zip file and clicking "Extract All" in the Windows File Explorer context menu. This works in Windows 7 Pro. Should be the same in Windows
A warning about files downloaded from the internet being harmful may pop up, just click OK and continue as these are safe and are not Malware or viruses!

If there is no file in that folder then look again in your file downloads location for the .zip file Forscan has been asking for and extract it to your 'MyDocuments folder.

If a message pops up asking what program to use to extract the file, then you will need to download a little program called 7zip and install it and use it to extract the .zip file or .zip archive into or in the folder you made!
You should not have to though, as archive file extraction has been a part of the Windows Explorer right click menu since Win XP!

Let's see if that helps you with a little more will to live!
