Last week, Microsoft stopped pushing the latest Windows 10 security patch to AMD systems following reports of unbootable PCs. As a result, PCs with AMD processors could no longer install the Windows 10 build , which is the latest cumulative update for the Fall Creators Update.
Microsoft said at the time that it was working with AMD to resolve this issue and release another update as soon as possible. The company finally delivered yesterday by rolling out the Windows 10 build , which fixes the issues with AMD devices getting into an unbootable state. As it’s a cumulative update, it also includes all previous Meltdown and Spectre patches included in the build
As noted by Neowin, it seems that this latest update is only available for AMD systems, and Microsoft has yet to list it on the Windows 10 Update History page. Anyway, it should appear as “KB” in Windows Update, but you can also download it from the Microsoft Update catalog.
