Comic Shelf Manga Reader is a freeware and its a portable software which means it doesn&#;t need any installation. Just unzip the program to any folder and use it from that location. You can always create a shortcut for the program on the desktop for easy access.

The first time you run the program it would ask you setup the language as well as the Manga sites that you would like to access via Comic Shelf.

You can select various English Manga websites like Manga Volume, One Manga, MangaFox etc. from the list shown. This way only these sites are shown when you first start the program.

Comic Shelf has an auto-update option which will keep your Manga Reader updated with latest features.

To apply the update just restart the program.

Comic Shelf Main Interface:

The main user interface for Comic Shelf is clean and easy to understand. The Manga websites are listed to the left and the various Manga’s are alphabetically listed. Clicking on the Manga name shows various chapters of the manga on the right side.

You can also add any manga to your favorites for quick access and search for manga in the listed sites. It also shows you a list of recently accessed titles – on the left bottom part of the program.

When you click on the chapter, the Manga Viewer opens up and you can just use the right and left buttons to browse through the chapter. There is an option to view the manga in full screen.

The Full screen window makes reading the manga quite convenient and the toolbar at top is available to change any settings if needed. Besides basic browsing functionality, Comic Shelf provides a rich set of features to improve your browsing comic experience.

Comic Shelf Settings:

Comic Shelf has a number of settings to suit various user requirements. It lets you setup connection and download speeds as well as define the keyboard shortcuts you want to use when you view a manga in the manga viewer.

You can setup the location where you want to download the manga on your computer.

When you close Comic Shelf, It also gives you the option to Minimize it to the system tray (if you are downloading manga) or close it completely.
