Opera web browser citrix downloading ica files

Is there anyway to get Opera to automatically open downloads? This has been the common norm for all other browsers out there for ages, but its bewildering to see Opera not adopting to it. Is there an extension or an add on that will help me do this please? I saw a similar thread having been posted a few years ago without a satisfying answer and hence I'm posting this again. Please help.

Note: I use Citrix to connect to my clients' VMs and I download temporary Citrix ICA Client files all the time for that. I've been using firefox and chrome in the past and they automatically load my VM (by opening the downloaded file!) and they even know that it is a temporary file and don't save it in downloads. I know at this point it looks like asking for that will be a bit too much, but I'd just like to find a way to automatically open downloaded files please.
