I am trying to download a pdf files from media. The HTML code I use is . It doesn&#;t work and I&#;m not experienced enough in WordPress to understand how to fix it. What happens is that a download pop-up appears but the contents of the download is the media page containing the pdf. In other words, the pdf &#;container&#; is downloaded, not the pdf, and this format is not pdf compliant. What I would like is to download the pdf file itself.
I&#;ve looked at several answers for similar questions and although close, they don&#;t seem to be the same.
