Answering your questions
Who qualifies to receive Logos?
New and returning students who have been admitted to a master's-level or doctoral-level degree program and are enrolled in courses for credit will receive continuous access to their Logos package for the duration of their enrollment. Students in counseling programs receive Logos Bronze, while other students receive Logos Gold in keeping with the diverse needs of those types of programs.
Students enrolled non-degree or non-credit programs (audit, enrichment, Certificate in Transformation Coaching, or Center for Leadership Development) do not qualify to receive Logos.
Do alumni receive Logos too?
Not all of them. Students who graduate during or after the Fall semester will receive permanent ownership of their Logos Bible Software package. Mobile Ed. and Logos Cloud Features subscriptions are discontinued after they graduate, unless they choose to pay to continue those services.
Do I have to pay anything to utilize Logos?
The price of your Logos package is covered by your Western Seminary tuition expenses and the Educational Resource fee you pay each semester. There is no additonal price to pay for Logos.
Where can I get my copy?
After registering for courses for credit toward a degree, you will receive Logos access and installation instructions by email several weeks in advance of the coming semester. The process will require you to first create an account with FaithLife and you will then be able to download the software. If you already have a version of Logos and will simply be getting an upgrade (including access to the Logos Cloud Features/Mobile Ed features), we ask that your email address in S.I.S. (Western's Student Information System) matches that in your Logos/FaithLife account to manage the upgrade process.
I purchased Logos through the Western discount program. Can I get my money back?
Yes. Now that Logos is given to all students, students who purchased it previously through Western will receive a refund for the total paid to date less $ per semester they've enrolled since purchasing the software.
Do I keep Logos after I graduate?
You bet. You graduate from Western, you own Logos for life. However, the Logos Cloud Features add-on and Mobile Ed. subscriptions expire upon graduation. You may continue to pay Logos directly if you choose to continue accessing those features of the software.
Do I have to utilize Logos to complete my coursework?
No. Our faculty recommends Logos as a means of easing and enhancing your seminary studies. In some cases, faculty may offer alternative assignments where students can utilize Logos videos instead of completing additional reading or research. Of course, your assignments and learning can still be completed by other means.
How do I set up Logos on my device?
After enrolling at Western, you gain access to a www.cronistalascolonias.com.ar user account where you may download your Logos Core engine, mobile apps, and your particular package (Gold or Bronze).
Students who seek training for their software may utilize a wealth of device-specific Logos tutorials.
