Well I upgraded to xfree and used your config
file but I am still getting the same responses.
(II) SIS: driver for SiS chipsets: SIS, SIS, SIS, SIS,
SIS, SIS, SIS
(II) Primary Device is: PCI
(--) Assigning device section with no busID to primary device
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFreelog".
Please report problems to xfree86@xfreeorg.
For some reason I am not getting the same driver response
as you:
(II) SIS: driver for SiS chipsets: SIS/, SIS/,
SIS/AGP/DVD, SIS/, SIS/, SIS, SIS, SISH,
SISPRO, SIS, SIS/M//, SIS(Xabre)
Are you actually using Winischhoffer's drives?
What else can I do?
