solarwinds NCM is a good tool for compliance and security of routers/switches.
my previous organization used this product to keep track of configurations and configuration changes on all multi vendor routers/switches of our clients and upon any outage we provided with services to troubleshoot and make them go live again and provide details to our clients with data from generating reports and sending link up/down emails to our clients
