UPDATE: PS Plus April free PS4 games have been officially announced by Sony.

Confirming earlier leaks, the free games include Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally The games will be available to download on April 7.

ORIGINAL: The PS Plus free PS4 games for April are about to be officially revealed by Sony.

The next wave of free PS4 games will be revealed at pm UK time on April 1. PS Plus subscribers will be able to download the games less than a week later on April 7.

The new PlayStation Plus games will replace the existing line-up of Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces.

While we would usually dedicate a portion of this PS Plus countdown to making predictions, a recent leak has seemingly confirmed the line-up a week early.

According to a leaked video posted on YouTube, the April PlayStation Plus line-up will be one of the best yet.

Subscribers will be able to download iconic PS4 action game Uncharted 4, as well as highly rated racing game Dirt Rally

Unless Sony changes the line-up at the last minute (like it did with Pro Evolution Soccer last year), the April game selection is sure to go down as one of the finest ever.

The highlight is obviously Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which has a Metacritic score of 93%.

"Every Treasure Has its Price," reads the official Uncharted 4 description.

"Thrown back into the dangerous underworld he’d tried to leave behind, Nathan Drake must decide what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

Dirt Rally fares almost as well, scoring an impressive 84% on Metacritic.

"DiRT Rally dares you to carve your way through a selection of iconic rally locations from across the globe, in the most powerful off-road vehicles ever made, knowing that the smallest mistake could end your stage," reads the official description.
