How to Upload Multiple Photos to Google Web Albums
Uploading one file at a time to a website can turn a mundane task into an ordeal if you have many files to upload. In , Google enhanced its free Picasa Web Albums photo sharing service: You can now upload an unlimited number of photos from your computer at one time using a couple of methods. Once you get your photos into albums on the Web, others can view them by visiting your Picasa Web Albums page.

Visit your Picasa Web Albums page.

Click “Add to an Existing Album” and then click the “Album Name” drop-down menu to display your photo albums. Click one of the albums to select it.
Upload using File Upload Window

Click “Select Photos from Your Computer.” A "File Upload" window opens.

Hold down your “Ctrl” key and click files you wish to upload.

Click "Open" to upload them.

Resize your browser so that it is 50 percent smaller. Drag the browser to your screen’s right side.

Open Windows Explorer and resize it so that it is 50 percent smaller. Drag it to your screen’s left side.

Navigate to a folder that contains images, hold down the “Ctrl” key and click files you wish to upload. Windows Explorer highlights the files.

Drag the files into the “Drag Photos Here” box that appears on your Picasa page. The site uploads them.

- It may take a while for large photos to upload if you select many files. Monitor the upload process by viewing the progress bar at the bottom of your Picasa home page
